Akshara goes into labour, Naitik not by her side

Both the families are extremely happy and cannot contain their excitement. As the due date for Akshara's  delivery has arrived, everybody is thrilled. A nervous Rajshri says “Akshara has gone into labour and  now I am extremely worried about how she will bear this pain. I have asked the doctor to allow me to be with her and I just hope that everything goes well.”

This is Akshara's first pregnancy, she is scared and would like Naitik to be by her side. But unfortunately Naitik had to attend an urgent business meeting in Pune. Akshara says “I am really scared right now, as I have gone into labour, but Naitik is not with me. I need him by my side, so that he can calm me and also share this joy. I want Naitik to be the first person to look at his child and hold our baby in his arms.”

An upset Naitik says “I am in a dilemma right now, I am torn apart, that despite not wanting to go for the meeting I had to go. I tried everything possible to postpone the meeting, but it was not possible. My entire concentration is on Akshara and the baby. And now that I have received news that Akshara is in labour, I just want to go back and be with her. I had promised her that I would be there for her and would hold her hand through this, but right now I am undergoing emotional turmoil.”
