Amol’s wedding woes

A Starplus.in source reveals, “Amol is being forced into this marriage as his family owes money to the Sarpanch. In the upcoming episodes, Amol’s haldi ceremony and the garba-dandiya ceremony will take place. Amol and Rekha will share some romantic moments during the garba but Kanchan will interrupt and force Amol to dance with her. He will not have any choice but to follow her orders. Both Amol and Rekha will try their best to arrange for the money to pay off the debt but are unsuccessful. The couple will be in a fix as they are running out of ideas to avoid this marriage.”

Theatre actress Rachana Pakai, who enters the show as Kanchan, has viewers in splits with her hilarious antics and look. Speaking about the character Rachana says, “This character is completely different from anything that I have done in the past. The look and costume is funny and loud.” Talking about the track she says “I am determined to marry Amol whether he likes it or not. Even during the dandiya night, I force him to dance with me and it just might look like I am beating him with the sticks,” she laughs.

Speaking about her co-stars, she adds, “Everyone from Amol to Vikki, Bobby, Rekha and others made me feel like part of the show from day one. They are very sweet and down to earth. All of us eat together and share our food on the sets.”

On the other hand, a tense Amol reveals, “I was stunned to realise that my parents want me to marry Kanchan. I can’t even back out of the wedding since my father has threatened to commit suicide and my mother has mortgaged her jewellery to the Sarpanch. Rekha was equally surprised and upset after learning about my marriage being fixed with Kanchan, but luckily I managed to pacify her. I have a plan to avoid this marriage and the audience will have to watch the show to find out what it is.”
