MasterChef Blog: Reconnecting with Akshay Kumar

When Akshay Kumar comes to the sets, for me it will bring back memories of season one. He is an electrifying personality and I am sure the contestants will be shocked out of their wits to see him. Especially when he reveals the conveyor belt task that we have decided. It is a one-of-a-kind challenge but I am sure our top three will up the ante with their cooking.

In fact our previous zaykebaaz are also going to be there. Dolcee has told us that she will try proposing to Akshay again while Akshay, I am told will be taking Hiral in his arms. Actually all this fun of being on the sets, the challenges, the innovative dishes – I am going to miss all of this a lot. It's been an exciting journey and the fact that I have seen dreams being made and broken in front of me has been an endearing experience.

As our promise started of making everyone change the way they cook, I hope we have fulfilled it. Badlo India apne khaane ka andaaz? From the zaykebaazon ka safar to our exciting challenges, everyone I meet is telling me that they have really enjoyed MasterChef India 2. I would really like to thank all of you for the immense love that you have showered on all of us. And also STAR Plus for bring the MasterChef concept to India.
