Join 100 fans and Akshay Kumar for MasterChef grand finale

Viewers will see the episode open with the two finalists in the MasterChef kitchen, as the three judges and eliminated contestants are waiting for them at a table.  The flavour-e-azam recipes of the contestants have been recreated and everyone will enjoy dinner.  At the table, the contestants and the judges will share with each other their memories of the significant dishes.

Chef Kunal says, “Oh, we are going to have so much fun in the finale before the task. I know the contestants keep imitating us all the time when the cameras are not rolling. But we are also going to pull their legs now. This will also help ease up the tension that the two finalists will face in the challenge”

Chef Ajay adds, “I have so many fond memories of MasterChef India 2 that for sometime it will be difficult to get back to my usual routine. The contestants this season have all been fabulous. I still remember how we keep teasing Vijayalaxmi for facing the most Aakhri Daavs and Joseph for crying the most”.

The finale challenge will begin as the judges will tell the top two contestants that they have to prepare a signature dish that will leave their mark this season.  The twist is that these dishes will have to be liked by 100 viewers of the show, who will then be judging them and deciding the next MasterChef.  Chef Jolly from Renaissance with his team of chefs will be present to help them direct the correct flavours in every portion of the 100 dishes.
 
The last part of the finale will see Akshay Kumar making a grand entry to announce the next MasterChef.  Kaun badal payega India ke khane ka andaz? Who will wear the crown of the MasterChef India 2 winner? Don't forget to catch all the action on STAR Plus, 31st Dec at 9pm.
