We caught up with Sajjan Singh in a romantic mood as he reveals the reason behind his changed
behaviour.
It seems like you have become young at heart. Would you say that your dil has become a bachcha again?
Har aadmi ke andar ek bachcha hota hain. Aur mera dil abhi bachacha ho gaya. I’m only human. I have feelings too[Smiles] The promos feature you in a different and striking look with your hair and beard dyed black.
Do you like your new look?
I really liked this new look with dyed hair and beard as it shows that I have gone back to my heydays and life to the fullest. Audiences will now get to see the soft side of my personality which they haven’t seen yet.
Would you attribute your change in attitude to Ganga entering your life?
Ganga is a very nice girl. But after a lot of emotional imbalances in my life, I have now decided to calm down. At the same time I don’t want Ganga to see my old, rudra roop. I feel she is so pure and innocent and that she has entered my life to make me a better person.
What’s your real motive behind wooing Ganga?
I am just trying to impress her and I want her to stay in our family. I am just trying to make her comfortable, so that she won’t be scared.
Why have you suddenly changed as a person?
I have changed due to circumstances in my life. The incidents in the past and present have changed the person in me and let’s see how things progress further.
How would you describe your relationship with Ganga?
My relationship with Ganga is similar to relationship between Dushyant-Shakuntala. I am really happy that Ganga is open to communicating with me.
What do you like about Ganga?
Ganga’s simplicity and innocence has attracted me towards her.
What kind of impact will your relationship with Ganga have on your family members?
I have already told them that Ganga is special to me. I don’t think any of my family members would object to my pampering and taking care of her.
Do you think she will misuse your kindness?
No, I don’t think she will. She’s a very good natured girl.
Your attitude towards your wife too changed and ever since she returned from the hospital you have been treating her differently. Why is that?
She has not fully recovered so she can’t look after me. Moreover, she is against Krishna’s love for Pratigya and did so many mean things to destroy the married life of her own son. I am very angry with her for
that.
What are your plans for Sumitra?
I just want her to stay away from my affairs. I am keeping an eye on her and this time, if she plots anything against Krishna or Pratigya or Ganga, I am not going to let her live.
You seem to have accepted your daughter-in-law Pratigya quite happily back home. Is this welcome genuine?
Yes, why not? I have realized that my baba (Krishna) loves her very much and she is a good influence on him. Now, I have accepted her as my daughter-in-law.
