On this week’s episode the top 6 contestants faced a tough challenge as they were required to sing songs with minimal usage of instruments and deliver an unplugged performance. Champion Sharib was also eliminated in this episode. |

 The top 5 competition was not tough only for the contestants but also started to heat up between the mentors, Shaan and Shantanu. Shaan has his three champions Sreeram, Aneek and Akanksha while Shantanu now only has Anweshaa and Irfan. Shaan considers Aneek his "lambi race ka ghoda" while Shantnau has faith that Irfan is his most consistent performer. However this week Sharib has been eliminated and now there is competition between the Top 5.
The contestants were in quite a shock with the revelation of their scores after their performance but the real shock came in when the judges announced the report card of each contestant which described their journey in JJWS 2 so far. It was very interesting to hear what the judges said about each of the contestants.
Alka stated that Sreeram always sings songs which are revolving around beautiful eyes - "tere mast mast do nain" and now "aankhon mein teri" and asked him who is he singing for? Sreeram agreed that he does sing all these songs while thinking of someone special. Who is this person that is so special to Sreeram?
The judges were stunned to see the new avatar of the shy and silent Anweshaa. For the past few weeks she has opened up, not only in her songs and performance but also her presence on the show. In the earlier episodes she surprised everyone with "Ooh la la" and once again she is up with another performance. Find out about this new performance of Anweshaa's that earned her the respect of all the judges.
