Irfan wins Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar 2

Irfan says "It was an awesome experience. I have never won a reality show and Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar 2 is a huge show watched nationwide. Ever since I crossed over to the Challengers and then got promoted back to the Champions, I got more confidence and that’s when I knew that I could win this. I’m grateful to be a part of this show. Since I stepped foot in JJWS2 it has been an amazing journey for me. Being part of a show, alongside talented singers from various places, having judges like Shantanu, Shaan and Swanand mentoring and guiding us, was a wonderful experience, something which every singer would wish for.

My family was present at the finale and they were proud to see me win the title. I’m very grateful to my parents, they mean everything to me. I will be heading back to my hometown, Hyderabad, where my family and friends have organised a grand reception on the occasion of my victory. I will take a break and relax for a while but I hope to start work on my own solo album soon. Before Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar 2 happened, I never thought about this but since I have won the title I have got more confident and I am keen to create my own album.

I would like to thank all my fans for supporting me through this whole journey, I couldn't have done it without their support. I have been getting congratulatory mails and messages and I’m thankful for all the support that I have received from everyone.
