Teej celebrations are on in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon

Anjali is excited to meet her husband, who will soon return home, while Khushi and Payal will fast on Buaji’s insistence.

A STAR Plus.in source reveals: “Anjali is excited about Teej, which is the most important festival for every married woman. She wants her family members, especially her brother Arnav, to participate in this festival. The entire Raizada family will come to the temple for the puja where even Khushi and Payal will land up. Khushi and Payal have kept their first Teej fast on Buaji’s request. While Payal is fine and happy to obey her Buaji, Khushi doesn’t want to fast as she feels it is only for married women. While Akash and Payal will both be surprised to see each other at the temple, Khushi will faint due to hunger.”

A happy and excited Anjali aka Daljeet Bhanot explains: “Teej is an important festival for every married woman and being married, I am happy to fast for my husband’s long life. He will be back from his business trip to be with me during the Teej celebration. I am a religious person and it was my idea to celebrate Teej with my family members in the temple. I will perform a puja and worship Shiv and Gauri. It was a pleasant surprise to bump into Khushi and her sister Payal at the temple. I was glad to see that they came for the same puja and are doing Teej to get good husbands.”

Khushi Gupta aka Sanaya Irani is irritated about fasting and says: “I am not at all happy with the idea of keeping a fast and not eating anything whole day as I love to eat. But for Buaji’s sake and my Payal didi’s request, I am going along with this fast. I am happy to be dressed in a lovely sari and jewellery. This is the fun part of this fast. The fast of Teej is important for every married woman and many unmarried girls fast to get a good husband. But I am not thinking of anyone in that context at present, so what is the point of keeping this fast?”

Payal Gupta aka Dipali Pansare too adds: “I am keeping this fast for Buaji’s sake who wanted us to fast and ask Lord Shiva to give us good husbands. Teej has great significance in every married woman’s life, so I am looking forward to going to the temple in the evening for the puja.”
