We spoke to Bhumi Shukla, who plays Alpa Nanavati
What do you want to say about STAR Parivaar completing 10 years?
“It feels great to be a part of this STAR celebration and this will be our third year in the STAR Parivaar. My best wishes are there with all the nominees and may the best person win.”
Which was your all time favourite Jodi of STAR Parivaar?
It is none other Mihir-Tulsi Virani from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. I love their pairing and in the current Jodi list, I like Bhakti-Mohan from our show, for me they are the best and though now Bhakti is no more with us.”
Do you remember any of your on-screen moments from STAR Parivaar in these three years?
"We all were very happy when we were invited for the awards ceremony three years back and our show promo was displayed on screen during the awards, I felt very happy that we are also part of this huge family."
Among the current television shows, which is your favourite?
“I watch Hamari Devrani and sometimes if I get a time from the hectic shooting then I watch the repeat telecast of Sasural Genda Phool or I sleep, so everything depends on the shooting pack-up.”
Which was your favourite performance in these 10 years?
“I remember there was comical act which was done by all the Khichadi actors and it was a wonderful and the most hilarious act as well, then last year Bhakti- Mohan's performance was also nice.”
Now, how is it working with young and new actress Vidhi Sindhwad aka Aastha, Bhakti’s daughter?
“She is very hard working and a good actress. Overall, it’s a good experience shooting with her.”

What do you like about STAR Parivaar awards?
“These awards are given to the talented members of STAR Plus shows and it’s a huge family and it is done most lavishly every year and I am happy that every year we get a huge response from our fans.”
Which is your all time favourite Jodi of STAR Parivaar?
“It is none other than Mihir-Tulsi, they were the most adorable couple on television. No one can replace them.”
What would you like to tell the young generation of STAR Parivaar?
“Please work hard, so that this parivaar will go on for more than 10 years. I know that the young generation is more talented and will take this prestigious award to the highest pinnacle.”
Which is your favourite character and show from the recent ones?
“I love Pratigya and Krishna. I like their love-hate relationship and also the show’s theme is realistic and I watch this show regularly after the pack-up and now-a-days, I reach home early so I can watch this show. I know for sure Pratigya's actress Pooja Gor will win the award.”
