Ketki-Rasik play Cupid to Ragini-Anmol

To infuse romance in an otherwise lackluster relationship, the makers of the show have roped in silver jubilee couple, Ketki and Rasik Dave to make them realise the sanctity of marriage. The couple have been together for almost 30 years, which includes a three-year long courtship followed by 27 years of marriage. The duo has started shooting for the cameo from today at a restaurant, where they will bump into the leading couple of the show.

Says Ketki, “We are playing a couple on the show who is very much in love. We will help Ragini and Anmol resurrect their troubled relationship. We will help them look at their marriage with a different view-point and paying heed to their tips, Ragini and Anmol might just work to save their marriage.”

Happily married for the past 27 years, Ketki believes that love plays a pivotal role in making a marriage successful. She shares, “Love is very important factor and is the foundation of any relationship. Then comes adjustment and giving ample space to your spouse. It is not about enjoying just your life but enjoying together.”

But this is a male-dominant society, so how does she see a female enjoy it equally as her partner? “Just because you are a housewife, it doesn’t mean you should feel any inferior. If a male goes out to earn money to run his family, a housewife runs the kitchen and prepare his meals. It’s not an easy job to look after your family and children. They both are doing an equally important job.”

Apart from this, Sulagna Panigrahi, too has been roped in the show opposite Alekh. She will eventually fall in love with the lad. The actress however refused to confirm and said, “Nothing is confirmed as yet.”

The sequence is expected to air sometime next week on Bidaai at 9:00 pm on STAR Plus.
