With just one episode to go, Satyamev Jayate is now approaching its grand finale and it has been a remarkable journey so far. What do you think will be on Aamir Khan’s agenda for the last episode? Read on to know more.

So far the show has highlighted the problems faced by many, probably even known to many but not many dared to talk about it openly. In its 12 episodes, the show has so far attempted to bring forth a number of issues plaguing our society right from the cruel practice of female foeticide to the dire state of water resources in our country.

The show highlighted the harsh reality of child sex abuse and how some doctors resorted to unethical means and play with patients’ lives. The show also spoke about the infrastructural disability in our country in an attempt to raise awareness about the neglect of persons with disability.

It also dwelt upon the fact that many a times our culture and tradition is responsible to cripple our thoughts. How the simple act of falling in love opens up a world of emotions and reactions which sometimes culminates in crime.

The fact that we don’t need pesticides for better yield and the use of these pesticides is deadly for health was a reality that many were grossly unaware of.

Furthermore, some people associated drinking alcohol with fun and enjoying life, but in the same vein forget that excessive and irresponsible drinking takes away that very life itself. Satyamev Jayate highlighted the pitfalls of alcohol abuse and how it has ruined lives of countless people and their families.

The episode on untouchability brought forth the harsh realities of the caste-based discrimination in India. It exposed the dark underside of India that continues to violate people’s right for equality with the most horrific account being people continued to be employed in one of the most demeaning professions of manual scavenging.

In the third last and the penultimate episode, Satyamev Jayate stressed upon topics that are closest to our hearts. The 11th episode spoke about how the fast pace of modern life have led people to neglect their ageing parents while the latest episode spoke about the deteriorating condition of water and water bodies in our country, and how we continue to neglect them to the point of letting them die a gradual death.

In the next and the final episode, Aamir will share the most important lesson that he learnt during his 2-year journey with Satyamev Jayate.
