The seventh episode of Satyamev Jayate focused on the domestic violence in Indian families.

 

The show highlighted the suffering and the violence that some women go through just to keep their marriage going. Though the government statistics show 40% of female population in India endure domestic violence, the survey carried out by Yugantar Education Society claims this percentage to be an alarming 84%.

 

Aamir asked the viewers if beating a woman is a sign of masculinity.
