Presenting a heart-wrenching story of a teenage girl, who becomes a victim of sexual harassment, STAR Plus presents Kaali - Ek Agnipariksha. This classic story of good v/s evil will debut on 13th September at 11pm only on STAR Plus. Kaali depicts the story of a teenage girl, Rachna, who dreams of becoming India's next badminton star. However, her life is shattered when she is subject to sexual harassment by the bahubali, Thakral. Thakral threatens her very existence but Rachna shows the willpower to fight back. The show explores if she will have the strength to become navyug ki Kaali. The show is aimed at increasing social awareness about the growing number of cases of sexual crimes against women. Sonali Kulkarni who makes her debut on a fiction show with 'Kaali - Ek Agnipariksha', essays the role of the protagonist’s deceased mother.
