Akshay will be seen in an episode of Sasural Genda Phool where he will be promoting his upcoming film Khatta Meetha.
We spoke to the main members of the Kashayap family about their show completing 100 episodes. "I am happy that my family is celebrating and enjoying the success of the show. I have many special moments to share with my fans. When I was in need of money, I asked my husband Alok because Ishika wanted to buy something and the way I asked him for money is still fresh in my mind. Ishaan's wedding is something that stands out. There are many special moments which I have spent with my loving and caring family,” says Rano
When asked about Akshay Kumar coming to her place, she said, "Oh yes, we all will welcome him with delicious pakodas and will ask him about his early days in Chandni Chowk.”
Later on we spoke to Suhana who said, “I am happy and I have experienced some funny and some emotional moments with this family. I can’t forget the day when I came from the Bengali Market and then I sang Khaye Khaye Maine Gol Gappe. Then there was one emotional scene where I break the glass, following which Badi maa tries to explain things to me and then I kissed her hand. It was a very emotional moment for me.”
Speaking about Akshay Kumar, Suhana added, “I am happy and excited to see him. My other family members are busy planning things to impress him.”
After Suhana, it is Ishaan who shares the same feeling but like his mother and Suhana he has also some special moments, “My favourite moment was when I told Suhana that I cannot be like anyone else because I have my own identity. Another moment was when I applied nail polish on Suhana, prompting Inder and Elesh Bhaiya a reason to poke fun at me.” About Akshay's appearance on the show he adds, “Everyone is excited to see Akshay Kumar. I can't wait to see him face to face.”
The Bollywood Khiladi will be seen mingling with the Kashyap family and surely viewers can expect a fabulous episode with some light moments. The actor will be shooting on 18th July.
