Be happy- “Find joy in whatever you do, whether it is a small or big task and try to win the hearts of those at home. Remember that you can’t make others happy without being happy yourself, says Khushi.”
Put your family first- “Your family must be your top priority. Without them you will not feel like a home-maker. Attend to their needs first and the rest will simply follow, says Pratigya.”
Organise tasks-“It’s not easy to manage doing all the tasks at home. So try to organize yourself and prepare a schedule. Create a checklist if possible, so that you make time for other activities as well, says Sushila.”
Hire help- If you have a big family then don’t hesitate to hire someone to help or ask family members to help with the housework, says Akshara.”
Experiment- Learn to cook various cuisines. We all know that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Get advice from your mom or granny; go through various cook books or shows. Experiment with the food you make, says Gopi.”
Maintain yourself- Sometimes we tend to forget ourselves and get too busy with housework and the family's needs. But it’s important to maintain yourself and take care of your appearance. This will not only boost your self confidence but will keep the compliments coming from your husband, says Jeevika.”
