How has your experience on MasterChef India been? What's your take away from the show apart from money and the title?
“My journey was wonderful and was totally a different experience altogether. I am happy that I am now a celebrity. I am thankful to STAR Plus for giving me an opportunity to showcase my culinary skills.

While participating on the show, there are a lot of lessons you would have learned about cooking. What is the biggest lesson learnt?
“Every round for me was an eye opener in terms of cooking and I remember the round in which Rishi Kapoor had come. I'm still ready to learn.

How motivating and educating have the judges been? How do you rate your experience with them?
The Judges were tough, but fair. They ensured that we got better with each competition and that we outdo our previous performance. Akshay Kumar, on the other hand, was more of a friend. He was a total gentleman.

As a chef, you have some strong points and some weak points? Would you say that this show has made you hone your talent as a chef?
“Oh yes. I am glad that whatever the judges have told us are still fresh in my mind. Luckily I'm a quick learner while I observe things.

What was the toughest round on the show?
The finals where well-known chef Abhijeet Ghosh will be the celebrity chef. It's going to be a tough one

How has your life changed after participating on the show?
Everything has changed for the better. I am now famous (laughs)

How has your attitude towards cooking changed since you joined the show?
It has not changed at all and I am happy through this show I am getting more positive vibes to cook more and more.

What's the most important requisite to become a world class cook?
I am always ready to learn. I feel that a good chef needs to be a perfectionist and for me every day is a challenge in cooking.

Who is your icon in the cooking industry?
I am very passionate about cooking Mughlai food and Chef Gulam Rasool would be best chef ever.

What are you going to do with the cash prize if you win?
I haven't decided yet.

What's your message to the aspiring chefs?
“Learn how to learn and if you want to be a master then you have to be good observer and give importance to your passion and be the best among all.”

The most pathetic show ever. The contestant are not even worth the job of a waiter. Just check out the original Masterchef Australia show then you will come to know what is the standard of the indian masterchef. One good thing is Akshay learnt to say Amul instead of Aamul. This was just the marketing ground for Akshay and his movies nothing professional
