Ujjaini Mukherjee from Kolkata represented Himesh Reshammiya's Rock Gharana in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 and stood 7th in the competition. Later, she went on to win the singing reality show, Ek Mein Aur Ek Tu with Aishwarya Nigam.
She has also participated and represented the Champions team on one of Star Plus' reality show Jo Jeeta Wahi Superstar.
Ujjaini has done playback singing for music maestros like Aadesh Shrivastava, Monty Sharma and Himesh Reshammaiya. Yet another ardent fan of the legend, Asha Bhosle, Ujjaini is trained in Classical Hindustani Music and Opera.
If life were a song… which one would it be?
Rehna Tu Hain Jaisa Tu, Like A Star, Sawan Ke Jhoolein Padhe, Complicated etc. Life cannot be just one song for me. It changes with phases I go through.
What makes a great performer?
Talent, tons of hardwork, patience, intelligence and a lot of blessings.

Konkana Sen Sharma, Aishwarya Rai.
What's your mantra for a good performance?
Be confident and give it your best shot.
Do you have any formal singing training?
Yes, I have been learning Hindustani Classical music from Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty, Pt. Biresh Roy. Presently learning Opera.
What song would you like to sing on MMM?
I want to sing many songs As I want me and my team to fight till the end. Still specifically I want to sing "Mausam Ki Adla Badli" from Black.
Which are the other competitions you have been a part of?
Saregamapa and Jo Jeeta Wahi Superstar.
In the show, which team do you think will give you tough competition?
Every team is very deserving here and I know that everyone will give it their best shot hence all the teams will give a tough competition.
What has been your proudest moment?
Wining Saregama Ek Main Aur Ek Tu in 2006.
What according to you is your team's strength/weakness in the competition?
My team mates are my very good friends and I believe we will have a great co-ordination and team spirit in the show.
