Aaliya, her mother Meghna and her younger brother live with their dadi. Aaliya's mother, Meghna lost her husband Ravi at a very young age when she was pregnant with her second child. Since then she has been living a lonely life and listening to the taunts and insults of her in-laws. Aaliya, her 14 year old daughter is different from other teenagers.
